It’s our favourite time of the year and we have some spook-tacular events to announce! From horror mazes to haunted castles, witches to pumpkin patches, we have the perfect line up of Halloween experiences for everyone to enjoy this October and November. So, read on to plan your next fang-tastic Halloween adventure at our Merlin attractions… if you dare.

Ascarium at SEA LIFE

The most spook-tacular Halloween trail is back at SEA LIFEs across the UK*! Dive into the creepy deep this half term and follow the immersive trail to find the missing potion ingredients hidden throughout displays of the creepiest creatures. Once you’ve spotted all the missing items, solve the riddle at the end of the trail to complete the spell for the SEA LIFE Sea Witch and to claim your free reward!

The Haunted Castle at Warwick Castle

Prepare for a Halloween adventure brimming with spooky tales, scary fun and activities for all ages at The Haunted Castle. Search the spooky mansion, meet the Witches of Warwick, navigate the Haunted Hollows and discover quirky characters in their spellbinding shows live on the Dead Centre Stage.

The Castle After Dark at Warwick Castle

Enjoy an evening of haunting Halloween activities, live entertainment and local street food and drink brought to you by Digbeth Dining Club this October. Those feeling brave can climb the medieval towers and ramparts in the moonlight and navigate their way through two spine-chilling scare mazes. This event has limited tickets remaining, so book now to avoid missing out!

Home of Halloween at The Dungeons

Guys, ghosts and gory gals, get ready for some scary fun at The UK’s Dungeons this Halloween*. Experience the ultimate Halloween underground journey as you navigate your way through the murky history of our historic cities. With live actors, immersive theatrical sets, thrilling underground rides and jumps and screams around every corner, our Dungeons are scarier than ever this Halloween!

NEW for 2020: Experience the toe-curling Séance Show at The Edinburgh Dungeon and delve into the dark history of scarecrows at The Final Straw at The London Dungeon.

Creepy Crawly Adventure at SEA LIFE London Aquarium

SEA LIFE London Aquarium’s Rainforest Adventure will take a creepy turn this Halloween as it is overrun by creepy-crawlies. Passholders will be able to get closer than ever before in glass bubble tanks that allow explorers to see creepy species from 360 degrees. From ants, to spiders, to hissing cockroaches… get ready for the spookiest adventure yet!

Brick or Treat at LEGOLAND Discovery Centres

This October get into the Halloween spirit with your little monsters at LEGOLAND® Discovery Centres in Manchester and Birmingham. Add to the Pumpkin Patch with your very own LEGO pumpkin, solve the spooky puzzle on the ‘Scarevenger’ Hunt in MINILAND and take a family picture on your meet and greet with the Halloween-Heroes.

No Tricks Just Treats at The Bear Grylls Adventure

Calling all intrepid Passholder explorers! There are no tricks to be found at Bear Grylls Adventure this Halloween, only treats. Those with the sharpest shot in the Archery range will be in with a chance to win prizes ranging from Bear Grylls Adventure souvenirs to the ultimate treat… an exclusive training session with Archery Team GB! So, race to the top of the leader board and compare your results to Archery Team GB!

Sundown Adventure at Go Ape Chessington

Watch your little Tarzans swing through the trees as the sun goes down this Halloween. Young adventurers (above 1m+) and families will love this fun one-hour Halloween experience in the darkness of the forest. Scramble through a series of suspended tunnels, clamber across wobbly walkways, and negotiate tricky (or treaty) obstacles, before zooming down hair-raising zip wires, as eerie owls and forest wildlife provide a spooky soundtrack.

Pirate Adventure Mini Golf Lates at SEA LIFE Weymouth

Can you escape the ghost of Harry Paye this Halloween? Are you looking for a frightfully fun Halloween experience with a difference? Well shiver mi timbers we’ve got just the thing for you! Visit SEA LIFE Weymouth for a swashbuckling game of ghoulish golf as you tackle 18-holes of fiendish fun whilst trying to avoid Harry Paye and his troublesome ghostly comrades. Scary Walking Tours at The Edinburgh Dungeon

The Edinburgh Dungeon’s 60-minute walking tours are back and scarier than ever this Halloween! You better not linger to far behind as you discover Edinburgh’s most horrible sites and hear the tales of tragedy, plague, horror and mischief. Your tour guide, the grisly Black Jester, will meet you at the Palace of Holyrood House before divulging the secret stories of its most notorious residents, from Mary Queen of Scots to Burke & Hare.

Adult Lates at The York Dungeon

The York Dungeon's infamous Lates shows are returning this Halloween with a spooky offer for all unfortunate Passholders! This Halloween the Dungeon will be filled with pumpkins galore as it opens its doors after-dark for those souls 18+ and brave enough to enter... Strictly no small peasants allowed! No Lates event would be complete without an alcoholic drink and that’s just what you’ll get at the Golden Fleece Pub. But you better book early to avoid disappointment peasants. Dare you miss out?

Brick or Treat at The LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort

The ultimate Halloween party, Brick or Treat, returns this year with spook-tacular celebrations for all the family. The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort will be packed to bursting with fun Halloween activities for Passholders to enjoy, including the all new Haunted Lighthouse Halloween Show, a brand-new dance show sure to thrill the whole family. You’ll also get the chance to meet the park resident ‘Scarecrow’ who joins the other spooky characters exclusively for Brick or Treat!

Howl 'o' ween at Chessington World of Adventures Resort

Visit Chessington World of Adventures Resort for safe and spooky fun for the whole family this Howl'o'ween. Passholders can experience the enchanted new attraction, The Forgotten Forest, where you can wander into the whimsical woodland and encounter quirky inhabitants deep within the undergrowth. The bravest of adventurers can journey deeper into the dark caverns to experience the twisted next chapter of what lies beneath in the award-winning Creepy Caves: Resurgence*.

FRIGHT NIGHTS FEARSTIVAL at THORPE PARK Resort

At FRIGHT NIGHTS FEARSITVAL your darkest nightmares are set to reawaken! Passholders can enjoy the chilling atmosphere before taking on some of Europe’s most thrilling rides in the dead of night, but beware – FEAR is lurking around every corner. This Halloween, the Island is home to five new horrifying live-action experiences plus the return of two fan favourites. True FEARseekers can take on the Island’s two live scare mazes*: Platform 15 and Roots of Evil.

Scarefest at Alton Towers Resort

As the nights get shorter, Scarefest beckons. This Halloween the award-winning Scarefest returns with live entertainment for all ages and new attractions. Passholders can face the head-spinning, hair-raising rides and attractions in total darkness including Wickerman and the Alton Towers Dungeon! If that’s not scary enough, a new chilling outdoor scare maze – ‘Freak Show: Toxic Junkyard’* joins the award-winning line up of live action mazes* for thrillseekers! 

In addition, older families will be able to enjoy the gardens as never before with the brand-new, free attraction “Garden Lights Walk: Whispering Souls”, whilst younger families can enjoy live shows including the CBeebies Monster Ball and the Freaky Fun Zone characters and shows. There really is something for all the family to enjoy, so take in the spooky sights, music and street theatre and have some spine-tingling fun!
