Winter’s Tail at Chessington World of Adventures Resort

Make magical memories this Christmas at Winter’s Tail, enjoying festive family fun with your nearest and DEERest at Chessington.
With the help of our jolly elves and reindeer, meet Father Christmas in his log fire grotto and revel in all the Christmas cheer that a traditional panto and carollers offer. Plus, NEW for 2023, visit the charming residents of Enchanted Hollow as they prepare for a magical Christmas. Help them countdown to the BIG day and wish them all a ‘Merry Christmas’ as you and your family wander through the delightful underground town of Enchanted Hollow decked out in all its festive finery.
Plus, a selection of rides including the World of Jumanji will remain open, and there’s incredible animals and sea creatures to discover!

Christmas at the Castle!

Explore twinkling trees, dazzling decorations, and festive flourishes at every turn. Meet Santa in the cosy castle library as you hear a story of festive hope and joy. Wrap up warm and take a stroll through the enchanting Christmas market and treat yourself to a festive feast. Gaze upon glittering trees, wander through a sparkling outdoor light trail and skate across the spectacular open-air ice rink underneath towers and turrets. With all of this and more in one enchanting destination, you’re sure to feel the magic of Christmas.

Bring all the family together this Christmas and sing along to your favourite festive hits as you glide upon our magnificent open-air ice rink, underneath towers and turrets, in the stunning setting of the castle grounds.

As darkness falls, journey through our historic grounds and gardens and immerse yourself in breathtaking surroundings filled with twinkling trees, dazzling light displays and illuminated projections that light up the night sky.

Join the mischievous elves in the State Dining Room for an exciting Elf Workshop, before making your way to The Library to meet Santa & Mrs.Claus for a magical Storytime. Complete with a Christmas gift for your little ones and a tasty mince pie for the grown ups.

Get ready for a magical day of entertainment starting as soon as you enter the Park.
Start your day snapping an (s)elfie in front of our giant DUPLO® Christmas Tree - the perfect spot for a family photo worthy of a Christmas Card.
There will be lots of festive scenes hidden in Miniland for your little builders to discover. Also, in Miniland, Christmas is taking over The Brick! Your little elves will be able to festive activities and LEGO builds…
There will be live entertainment and characters to meet plus a selection of our amazing rides and attractions will be available so you and your family will be able to build memories that will last a lifetime.

Shrek the Halls
2nd December – 24th December
Guests who visit Shrek’s Adventure! London between December 2 and 24 December 2023 will get the chance to meet our very own Shrek santa and pose for a picture with him to mark the special occasion. Plus, guests will also be gifted a Christmas card!
The adventure to Far Far Away begins as you board a magical flying bus, with the loveable, yet mischievous Donkey. Guests will journey through the slimy Swamp, then down Drury Lane and even pop by the Muffin Man’s house, as you become part of an incredible interactive story featuring some of your favourite DreamWorks characters including Puss in Boots, Rumpelstiltskin and Pinocchio.
