Passholders! The festive season is upon us, and we're busy prepping the attractions with twinkling lights, Christmas trees and decorations galore! It’s the most wonderful time of year and we have plenty of magical adventures awaiting you and the family. From markets filled with delicious treats, ice rinks, light trails to Santa meet and greets, there’s a festive experience for every Passholder to enjoy this Winter. Here’s a closer look at what’s coming up and event ticket prices…

Christmas at Alton Towers

27th November - 2nd January

This December get ready to enjoy a magical festive day out at Alton Towers Resort, with specially selected rides ideal for families, including CBeebies Land and Gangsta Granny: The Ride! Plus get ready to visit our brand-new mega-magical Towers Street Christmas Market and discover over 60 fantabulous and wonderous market stalls – it’s the best place to shop for all your Christmas gifts! But the festive delights don’t end there: new for 2021 experience Alton Towers Resort’s & Lightopia Seasonal Wonderland a magical, immersive journey through the 4 seasons that will transport you to a whim-tastical land where you can control time.

Christmas Market

• New for 2021, discover over 60 fantabulous and wonderous market stalls making Alton Towers Resort the best place to shop for all your Christmas shopping! Soak in the atmosphere of Towers Street in all its festive brilliance as you explore our new Christmas market stalls full of unique crafts and delightful surprises! There's live music too, guaranteed to get you in the festive spirit. The Christmas Market is only available from 11am - 8pm until the 23rd December.

Festive Day Out

• Specially selected rides for all the family will be available at Christmas! So get ready to experience Gangsta Granny: The Ride and help Granny and Ben pull off the greatest jewel heist in history! And don’t forget to visit fantabulous family fave CBeebies Land, where families can now explore CBeebies themed rides and attractions and meet some of CBeebies’ most popular characters. The family rides & attractions are available on selected dates from 11am - 8pm when you purchase a Festive Day Out ticket.

Lightopia Seasonal Wonderland

• New for 2021 - experience Europe's longest light & lantern trail, Lightopia Seasonal Wonderland, a magical, immersive walk-through the 4 seasons that will transport you to a whim-tastical land where you can control time! This interactive experience will last approximately 45 minutes, covering 2km. The trail will dazzle you with a mix of spectacular lanterns, immersive light installations, and colour transformations that will light up the seasonal pathway and lead you through this spectacular after dark wonderland where a whole year will go by in just a day!

Christmas at the Castle at Warwick Castle

27th November - 3rd January

Experience the magic of Christmas at Warwick Castle this festive season. Inside, discover splendid Staterooms adorned with twinkling trees, dazzling decorations and festive flourishes. In the Great Hall, marvel at medieval armour, majestic architecture and the renowned 20ft high Christmas tree. Also, join Santa as he settles down to tell charming tales, sharing stories of festive cheer with little ones, accompanied, of course, by his merry elves.

Stories with Santa

• Santa’s mischievous elves have been hard at work creating a brand-new experience in their workshop - in partnership with Orchard Toys! With their help, children will be able to put together and pack their very own exclusive game from Orchard Toys. Head to The Library where Santa and Mrs Claus will recall magical tales for all children to hear.

Light Trail

• Back by popular demand, explore the grounds and gardens dressed in thousands of sparkling lights and featuring breath-taking light projections, under a wintery night sky.

Ice Rink

• The stunning open-air ice rink returns on the East Front! Get your skates on and glide across the ice to your favourite festive songs, enclosed by the spectacular castle walls.

Tis’ the season and Chessington World of Adventures Resort have certainly got plenty to be jolly about this winter. Meet Father Christmas

• Ho Ho Ho! Adventurers visiting Winter’s Tail up to 24th December will be guaranteed to meet Father Christmas! Guided by one of his jolly elves, you’ll make your way deep into a snowy wonderland before stepping foot into Father Christmas’ charming grotto. After, you’ll head on over to his top secret Toy Workshop where you will explore where he builds all his wonderful gifts for the big day... and children will even receive an early Christmas gift!   

Magical Christmas Kitchen

• Cheeky Elves have snuck into Mrs Christmas’ kitchen for a festive treat, causing all kinds of chaos! They need your help to sprinkle some Christmas magic to help clear up their mess and discover the ingredients for the perfect Christmas cookie. Children will receive a festive cookie at the end for showing their true spirit of Christmas and helping our Elves! Grown ups will get a complimentary hot drink and snack available to collect next to the Magical Christmas Kitchen and at other outlets across the Resort. 

The Wild Christmas Panto

• Oh no it isn’t, oh yes it is! The WILD CHRISTMAS PANTO is coming to Chessington’s Winters Tail again this year! Get ready to boo, cheer and dance your way into the festive season with this winter spectacular at The Mane stage this Christmas. 

Elmer's Christmas - Story Time

• This year Elmer has an extra special treat in store for his friends! Join us on Head to The Mini Stage this year, where our favourite patchwork elephant stars in his very own festive story as we bring the delightfully fun ‘Elmer’s Christmas’ book by David McKee to life. You can even meet Elmer himself at one of his festive meet and greet sessions.

LEGOLAND at Christmas at LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort

Join the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort as it celebrates the most special time of the year with ‘LEGOLAND at Christmas’. The festive event transforms the park into a winter wonderland, complete with twinkling lights, snow dusted trees, and of course…a sprinkling of LEGO® magic! Exciting festivities to enjoy include LEGO Make and Takes, a fun DUPLO Puppet pantomime and even an amazing Holiday Harbour show that will leave you full of the Christmas spirit. There are also over 25 amazing rides and attractions for you to enjoy with the whole family!

Father Christmas Meet and Greet

• Meet the man himself, Father Christmas, in his log cabin – a perfect family moment where children will receive a special LEGO gift. You can also catch Father Christmas as he rides around the park in his magical sleigh, don’t forget to give him a wave!

Saving Fish-mas at SEA LIFE London Aquarium

18th - 24th December

It’s penguin-ing to look a lot like Fish-mas and we need your help to save it! While Santa was taking a pit stop to experience the chills and thrills of our Polar Adventure, he lost his presents for all the fish at the aquarium, putting Fish-mas at risk! Keep your cool as you find the missing presents, all while waddling through our Penguin Point and coming face-to-fur with our life size AR Polar Bear. Once you have completed the trail (with the help of the Fish-mas elves), you can post your trail card to Santa Claus and enter our competition to win a special prize!

Santa's Grotto Experience at SEA LIFE Birmingham

20th November - 24th December

This Winter, sea explorers will be able to marvel at over 2000 amazing creatures including jaw-some sharks, cheeky gentoo penguins and the UK’s first and only sea otters, Ozzy and Ola before entering our glittering grotto where Santa and his cheeky elves will be waiting in their magical winter wonderland to say hello and find out what’s on the top of those Christmas lists this year!

Every child who visits Santa in his grotto will be given a present to take home and enjoy!*

Christmas Bricktacular at LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Manchester

Meet LEGO® Santa in his grotto

• Meet Santa (with a difference) and journey to LEGO® Santa’s Grotto this December! You’ll sit in LEGO Santa’s house while you write a letter to LEGO® Santa before heading into his grotto to have your souvenir photo taken with the brick man himself and get an awesome gift! Available on selected dates in December.

PJ Masks at SEA LIFE Manchester

20th November to 30th January

SEA LIFE Manchester has been thrown into chaos as the Night-Time Baddies from kids’ favourite television series, PJ Masks, have caused Marine Mayhem overnight. Thankfully the series’ resident superheroes, Catboy, Owlette and Gekko, have been recruited to help restore the aquarium back to its usual peaceful self. But they need help! The only way to get SEA LIFE Manchester back to normal is to put on a free hero mask, defeat five night-time baddies’ games and find the missing answers to the Activity Trail.
