What is the Smokehouse Taster Platter?
The Smokehouse Taster Platter is an exclusive dining experience available to Merlin Annual Passholders attending Chessington World of Adventures Passholder Day on 14 November only. Each platter includes a selection of our new Smokehouse meats and menu items, plus one soft drink per person.
How much does it cost?
The Smokehouse Taster Platter costs £13.95 per person, including one soft drink.
Can I use my Merlin Annual Pass discount?
No. The Smokehouse Taster Platter is already offered at a special promotional price, so no additional Merlin Annual Pass discounts, vouchers, promotions or staff discounts can be used in conjunction with this offer.
When is the offer available?
The offer is available on Saturday 14 November only during Passholder Day.
What time will the Smokehouse be open?
The Smokehouse restaurant will be open from 11:30am to 3:00pm.
Where is the Smokehouse?
The Smokehouse is located in Adventure Point at Chessington World of Advenures Resort, behind Room on the Broom – A Magical Journey.
Do I need to pre-book?
No. The offer is available on a first come, first served basis and cannot be pre-booked.
Is availability limited?
Yes. There is a limit of portions available. Once sold out, no further platters will be available on the day.
What happens if I miss out?
Guests who are unable to purchase a Smokehouse Taster Platter on the day will be offered a voucher to enjoy a discount on a future Smokehouse visit.
What is included in the platter?
Adult platter — per person:
- Pulled pork
- 3 ribs
- 2 chicken tenders
- 1 slice of turkey breast
- 1/2 hot dog
- 1 slice of brisket
- Fries
- Beans
- Corn on the cob
- Slaw
- Sauce
Kids’ platter:
- Mac and cheese
- Fries
- Crudités
- Beans
- Chicken tenders
- Cheeseburger
Can I purchase alcoholic drinks?
Yes. Alcoholic beverages will be available to purchase separately and are not included in the £13.95 price.
Is there a vegan/vegetarian option available?
No. Unfortunately, vegan/vegetarian options are not available as part of this promotion.
Is the meat Halal?
No. Please note that the meat served as part of the Smokehouse Taster Platter is not Halal certified.
Can I share a platter?
Yes, each platter serves two people but is designed as an individual tasting experience and is priced per person. Guests wishing to participate should purchase one platter per two adults. Single-serving platters can also be accommodated. Children’s platters are individual.
Can the offer be amended or withdrawn?
Management reserves the right to amend or withdraw the offer without prior notice.

Do children need to purchase their own platter?
Yes. The Smokehouse Taster Platter is sold on a per-person basis, and each platter includes one soft drink. Children wishing to take part will require their own purchased platter.
